Not too long ago, entire communities would come together to surround new parents with compassion and support as they adjusted to life with a newborn. Founded in 2019, Aila Birth Village is dedicated to bringing that village model back to Boston’s communities. As part of this mission, we offer postpartum doula support. If you’re feeling alone and overwhelmed by the challenges of motherhood, my support will provide you with the tools and resources to navigate this new chapter with confidence.

When you add a night nurse/overnight postpartum doula to your team, what does this mean?​

Adding a postpartum doula means you and your family get access to unparalleled support intended to handle what comes next. This means I:

  • Provide you with basic newborn care support, such as how to feed, diaper, swaddle, bath, and dress your newborn.

  • Support you emotionally and physically during your "fourth trimester".

  • Help you determine, plan, and successfully achieve parenting goals.

  • Am CPR/First Aid/AED certified.

  • Am a Certified Newborn Care Expert (Boston Baby Nurse and Nanny).

  • Have up-to-date vaccinations against COVID, influenza, and whooping cough.

  • Am certified as a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist.

Aila Birth Village offers nighttime postpartum support in blocks of eight hours. Cost for services are $55/hr and services will be billed upon booking.

Due to limited availability, I provide postpartum services on a first-come, first-serve basis and recommend booking these services as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!
